Kongrad, the mythic hairy beast has been brought to civilization but no one can find a dinner suit big enough to fit him. He means no harm but, because of his unwieldy bulk and superhuman wealth, he unwittingly crushes many in his path. His hardened heart is captivated by a wealth-worshiping columnist, who is herself entranced by his raw power. But a happy ending is not possible for this misunderstood coupling -- they are destined to be reviled and hated, despite their desire only to enlighten others about the spiritual power of greed. As King Kongrad climbs to dizzying media heights with his trophy wife, he suffers the spite missiles, resists the socialist machine guns, and valiantly tries to swat away the attack planes of defamation. Sadly, he is no match for the forces of post-nuclear envy.
