The first episode of the ultra-hyped Tax Wars saga returns to the days when the young Darth Vader (Paul Martin Jr.) is confronted by the phantom menace of a tax revolt confected by the corporate media. He struggles to choose between the social program building path of his father and the unholy alliance representing dark side of the force -- Darth Maul (Preston Manning), the Emperor (Jean Chretien), Grand Moff Tarkin (Conrad Black) and the ever-evil Jabba the Hut (Michael Walker). Those future empire builders are busy slashing taxes for the rich with hi-tech phaser institute sabres; using the Privatization Proton Cannon to liquidate all public services; and activating the Debt Star Battlestation to vaporize the galaxy's social safety net and scare citizens into following their agenda.
